Some ideas to highlight your teaching experience and give you a leg up on the other applicants

Do you have experience in "inclusion" classrooms. This is where all of the special needs students are integrated into the classroom with the other children. This is an up and coming trend and if you have experience with this program. definitely highlight it! How about ESOL endorsements? If you not only have the endorsement but have experience teaching ESOL students, highlight it! Hoe about participation in activities like parent teacher groups or any other pilot programs that you have been a part of? Do you have experience with new software, programs or technologies where you used to work? Highlight this. Anything to put you one tier above the competition will help. Are you experienced with the rules of no child left behind and the new added requirements? Highlight that too!
